Who Am I?
Yeah so hey, hi. I’m Ariel Meadow Stallings, an author and publisher who’s been marinating in the intersection of technology and personal expression for decades. I started blogging in 2000, and my first book, Offbeat Bride, came out in 2007. That book launched an online publication that reached millions of readers a month. Sure, we talked about nontraditional weddings, but really we were all about authenticity, inclusivity, accountability, and personal expression. I basically used weddings as an excuse to explore the depths of identity and self-awareness.
Fast forward to my 40s, and my life fell apart. Divorce. Medical crisis. Perimenopause. All the things. That spiral of chaos led to a midlife spiritual awakening, a massive healing journey, and my next book, From Sh!tshow to Afterglow: Putting Life Back Together After It All Falls Apart.
Here’s the twist: I’ve worked with dozens of healers, spent a decade in therapeutic work, and am deeply relational by nature... and yet ChatGPT is my new favorite personal development tool.
